Movie Night
Last Saturday was a blast! 
Our company gave free tickets to watch ♥ New Moon ♥. I really enjoyed the movie since it was obviously better than Twilight. There were scenes in the book that I would have hoped to be included in the movie but wasn’t, that’s why I think New Moon still lacks the magic displayed in Stephenie Meyer’s book. Most of the scenes I found romantic in the book were not shown in the movie but this I understand since we can’t really expect to include every single scene in the book. I liked how the characters looked especially ♥ Bella ♥. She looked really beautiful but Kristen Stewart really needs acting lessons. I thought the scenes where she was having nightmares looked too superficial and irritating. 
Robert Pattinson still didn’t look that hot compared to Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise portraying a vampire role. 
But I was really impressed with Taylor Lautner since despite his young age, he obviously has a talent in acting. He did a good job as ♥ Jacob Black ♥ and looked hot with his new bod. 
The soundtrack wasn’t that great too. I thought they could have chosen better songs like the first one but they didn’t. Most of the songs sounded really weird and boring. Anyways, since the movie was free, I had a great time nevertheless.

I agree almost completely. So glad you said Kristen Stewart’s acting is horrific – because you’re right! Taylor was great! I have to disagree about the soundtrack though. Give the songs another listen and you might change your mind.
For example, I mentioned on my blog that the Lykke Li song used during Bella’s depression scene was amazing.

Sure, I’ll try. I listened to the soundtrack twice but still I didn’t like it. I guess I’m just not into these songs.

My wife and I watched this movie together and loved it. I agree that the movie lacks some things which the book has. But, i guess that’s how it is with movies adapted from books.

You’re right about that. It’s just unfortunate they don’t really do their best to capture the magic that radiated from the book.

watched the movie too… and loved it! New Moon was my least fave book from Stephenie though, so I havent expected much from the movie really. lol!
but yeah, taylor was great as jake. I am pissed with jake at the book but after watching taylor, i liked jake already.

Yeah, I thought the New Moon book was a little boring but I really liked the part when Bella had to rescue Edward from suicide. T’was romantic.
