One trait of Filipinos is our fondness for Chinese cuisines that’s why I would recommend Harbour City Dimsum located at Ayala Center Cebu. One thing I’ve noticed here in Cebu is that there are so many dimsum restaurants and stalls but not all offer delicious and affordable meals. I don’t know about you but I love Chinese food.

Back in my home town Dumaguete City, situated in Oriental Negros, I remember the famous steamed rice of one of the department stores in the city, Lee Super Plaza. It used to cost P25 PHP five years ago, so I’m not really sure how much it costs now.

I know some Filipinos may hesitate to go inside any Chinese restaurant nowadays because of the recent Quirino Grandstand tragedy. Though I don’t share the same views but I can’t blame them as well.

Anyways, good Chinese food is available in this dim sum restaurant. It’s always wonderful to know where to eat especially after a stroll inside Ayala mall. What I like most in Harbour City is the affordability of their food. This place is ideal for those times when you are short of money and you can’t afford expensive restaurants that will cost P700 up.

My favorite is their version of Steamed Fried Rice which only costs P52 PHP. I also liked their Sweet and Sour Chicken for P48 and of course, the Shark’s Fin Shao Mai. We only spent around P400 since we ordered two servings of each plus our beverage. That’s quite cheap for food that’s good for 4 persons here in Cebu.

If you’re looking for scrumptious food at really affordable prices then this is the perfect place for you. The mood inside the restaurant is comfortable without too much classiness. At least you can be yourself and enjoy the company of your family or friends without so many pretenses. The interior is styled with contemporary Chinese-looking décor and furniture.
