Just recently I heard about the movie, The Amazing Spiderman or Spider-Man, based on the comic book series of the same name. The movie is said to be released on July 3, 2012. For starters I was quite surprised why this movie came out without the original star, Tobey Maguire, considering that he was just perfect in portraying the character of Spiderman. This movie, however, seems more suitable for teens or those still in high school and to be honest, I’m not so sure if this is the kind of movie I’ll look forward to watching next year.

Cars 2 is scheduled to show in IMAX Cebu starting August 24, 2011 until August 30, 2011. Luckily, I was invited to watch its technical run and I dare say it’s another fun-filled adventure with Lightning McQueen and Mater. It was all worth it and if I would have to pay for the ticket which is worth P400 it would still be worth every penny I think. I really liked the story because this time Mater was able to prove that he’s not just an ordinary, rusty old car after all. He gets a chance to prove his worth and to make his best pal, Lightning McQueen realize just how important he is.
