How to Look for A House for Sale in Cebu

There’s definitely a lot of ways to look for houses in Cebu. If you’re like me, who didn’t have any inkling about real estate in Cebu then I hope this guide will help you out in your quest for your dream home. First and foremost you need to ask yourself if you’re ready to buy your own home. It may seem easy but you need to expect that there will be expenses and some even quite expensive depending on the type of house you choose. These expenses include reservation fees which may cost around 5,000PHP to 30,000PHP and most of the time the equity. There are some houses here in Cebu, however, that don’t require you to pay equity. These are specifically row houses which typically have 2 bedrooms but the bad news is that most of the time they are not complete. So, you are likely to spend for room partitioning, interior painting, and other finishing touches. The costs of these homes are around 500,000PHP to 1,400,000PHP. This is one option that’s best for those who want to design their own home or who are looking for that perfect dream house look.

Top Moalboal Beaches and Resorts

Back in May 1, 2010, our old Quality team traveled towards the southwestern corners of Cebu en route Moalboal beach or Moalboal resort. Moalboal is a third class municipality in the province of Cebu, located 89 kilometers from Cebu City. It is sited between the towns of Alcantara and Badian.

Tourism in Moalboal was developed since the 1970s. Recently, its White Beach now hosts several resorts ideal to locals and tourists. The place is also known for its amazing diving spots namely Pescador Island and prosperous underwater existence.

Pescador Island is an island situated in Tanon Strait just a few kilometers west of Cebu, Philippines. This island is administered by the municipality of Moalboal. Surrounding waters of the island are believed to be severely deep. It is celebrated for its humid temperatures and prosperous underwater biodiversity. The waters is said to contain just about 70% of the country’s known species of fish. Divers are expected to observe around 2,500 fish species in its waters while there are still a significant number of fishes unknown.

Make Your Own Havaianas Wholesale and Gelatissimo Treats

Last Saturday, we dropped by one of our favorite shopping malls, the SM City Cebu, and we came across the Make Your Own Havaianas 2010 and was instantly considering buying our personalized wholesale Havaianas or in bulk. However, as quickly as the idea came, I was quick to change my mind, as well, knowing that I have more than enough flip flops at home. If you don’t know where to buy your dream Havaianas flip flops then this was you chance!

The event was catapulted at the Northwing Atrium from July 30 to August 2, 2010. Havaianas, a widely known (maybe a little too much) brand of flip flops not only in Cebu but Nationwide and even Worldwide, inveigled and surprised Cebuanos with its Annual Make Your Own Havaianas event allowing people to showcase their individual ingenuity and style.

Carmelite Spirituality Center and Claretian Mission Center

Carmelite Spirituality Center
Our second stopover was the Carmelite Spirituality Center situated high above the mountains of Barangay Milagros, Ormoc. The walk towards the center was tedious which only made me realize how much I lacked exercise.

The Carmelite Spirituality Center was of course captivating and somber. To witness the stunning statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Jesus, we had to climb further up small but rather lengthy steps. I could not help but feel that the further we ascended up those hallowed steps, the more you feel spiritually vulnerable and reflective.

After reaching the top, I have never felt happier since finally we were able to reach our short and momentary destination and of course, I got to see the statue closely. I felt an assortment of feelings then, I prayed again thinking that I had to, it was inevitable. I guess this is somehow what anyone would most likely do whenever you feel God is in close proximity.

Our Lady of Guadalupe Monastery in Ormoc City

The Our Lady of Guadalupe Monastery, Carmelite Spirituality Center, and Claretian Mission Center were just among the tourist destinations we visited during our six day stay in Ormoc City. The trip was comfortable despite the scorching temperature solely caused by the sun’s persistence.

Our first stop was the breathtaking Our Lady of Guadalupe Monastery situated in the hills of the Barrio Cabaon-an. Its location was quite perfect when your own soul is searching for refuge. If there was indeed a perfect haven to surrender yourself to the goodness and purity of God’s will then this was indeed the ideal place to contemplate.

The outskirts were mostly covered with pine trees and other trees I have yet to identify that contributed to the monastery’s green paradise. The entire place was echoing with spiritual solemnity that for the most part I felt that some divine being was watching over its visitors.

Exploring Lake Danao National Park

Just yesterday, we’ve traveled northeast of Ormoc City and stumbled on the famous Lake Danao National Park after a 20 minute ride from the city. The weather itself was on our side despite its sizzling heat, we were quite excited to arrive at our destination.

The Lake Danao National Park is a 2,193 hectare area and is about 15 kilometers travel from the Tongonan national road.

The trip towards the park was all right; however, I strongly suggest for you to bring along some food or snacks and drinks particularly water just to quench your thirst since the sun’s heat wasn’t really welcoming.

The well celebrated Lake Danao is the main attraction of the National Park which covers 148 hectares in the island Leyte, Philippines.
