East West Cafe in Asiatown IT Park Cebu

East West located in The Walk at Asiatown IT Park serves one of the best crepes I’ve ever tasted here in Cebu at a reasonable cost. Yesterday, my husband and I went out to have another taste of their delicious desserts. All I know is that they serve one of the best crepes in town. What I like about their crepes is that it smells delicious and tastes even better than most crepes I’ve tasted. You’ll only be spending around P135 to P159 for each crepe.

The flavors available are Apple Cinnamon Fold (P159.00), Bananas & Hazelnut (P159.00), Mango Sushi Crepe (P159.00), Cinnamon Roll (P145.00), Rocky Road Crepe (P145.00), and Peanut Butter & Jelly Pocket (P135.00). My absolute favorite is the Mango Sushi Crepe. As part of their menu, they also have breakfast and grilled sandwiches available. Their version of Big Breakfast is made out of ham and longganiza for P125. Other breakfast meals are Ham (P105), Longganiza (P105), and Bacon (P125).

Abaseria Deli and Café in Cebu

One time my old colleagues back in Convergys and I went to Abaseria Deli and Café for breakfast and I found the place interesting. There’s plenty of cool stuff that you can point your camera to and unfortunately, during that time I consider myself a newbie in photography. I honestly didn’t know how to handle my new D5000 until recently. The food was fine but I remember it was a tad bit expensive for a typical breakfast. However, it was still worth it considering the awesome environment.

Chopsticks Casual Chow: A Taste of Fine Chinese Delicacies

Chopsticks Casual Chow is located at eBloc Asiatown I.T. Park, also near the JP Morgan Chase building. Whenever you feel like eating delicious Chinese food and savor your meals using chopsticks then feel free to visit this delightful restaurant just in the heart of the city. Having opened last September 10, 2010, this restaurant is definitely an eye opener because unlike the usual fast food and coffee shops in the area, its name and ambiance bore classic Chinese cuisine.

The restaurant is set with comfortable and traditional looking furnishings but also with a touch of modern art. At first, we felt out of place because most of the people who were already inside the restaurant were Chinese. But as we settled in one of their available tables and ordered our food, we were comfortably chatting away and were very much excited thinking how their food tastes like.

Gabby’s Bistro: Delicious Gourmet Meals in Dumaguete

Maybe you’ve heard of Gabby’s Bistro located at Florentina Homes in Dumaguete City, a restaurant that offers yummy gourmet meals. During my recent and short trips to my home town, I visited this restaurant a couple of times and always enjoyed the meals they have in store. Dumaguete City is considered the largest and capital city of the province of Negros Oriental and has been the place where I grew up and spent the first 21 years of my life. I’m happy that finally there’s a cool where you can eat delicious gourmet food in the city.

Gabby’s Bistro is perfect for sharing a yummy meal with your family, friends, and loved ones. What struck me every time I visited the restaurant was its creative and unique appeal. This in turn makes the ambience delightful in more ways than one. You will notice from the artistic display of the décor and other elements within the restaurant’s interior. It’s absolutely charming! If you don’t believe me check out their rest room. It’s definitely worth seeing!

Blue Elephant Restaurant Cebu – A Delightful Taste of Royal Thai Cuisine

Blue Elephant Restaurant in Cebu is located at the lower ground level of “The Walk” which is an area that holds most of Cebu’s popular restaurants. Me and my friends dined at this restaurant back in September but I was only able to blog about it today. It can be a place that you can spend a special dinner with your loved ones, friends, and family.

There’s really more to this restaurant than just its splendid and unique ambiance. Being a world class restaurant brand, Blue Elephant is known to provide the best Royal Thai Cuisine of your choice. I am always a fan of elegant looking restaurants but this provides a whole new experience in dining compared to others. The food was definitely tasty and bears the unique taste of Thai cuisines that I typically prefer.

Zugboi Roasted Liempo and Chicken

Have you heard of Zugboi Roasted Liempo and Roasted Chicken? Cebu has always been famous for great tasty liempo and now, Zugboi just recently opened up another branch in Kamuning Street, Cebu City. I had the opportunity to taste their delicious and succulent food and of course, I wasn’t disappointed with what they had to offer. Here’s more about this new store that’s just accessible for anyone who lives in the city.

Zugboi Ambiance and Interior

We had the honor to speak with the store’s chef and owner, Mr. Alvin Kwan. A talented young chef who got his Culinary Arts diploma in Singapore. He joined our table and shared with us what makes his liempo a whole lot better and different from the rest other than its great tasty cuts. I was quite impressed with the spices and herbs that topped their products. Another thing was that he mentioned the store utilizes a machine to ensure the accurate size of each product. The standard weight of each pack is 600g which is more than adequate. This for me is a huge deal because you’re really getting your money’s worth.

Val’s Favorite Restaurant in Cebu – Classic Savory

Classic Savory is a restaurant in Cebu that offers delectable chicken and soup. We’ve been to this restaurant three times already but Val still enjoys their special Savory chicken. Compared to Max’s Fried Chicken I like this one better. It’s tasty even without their gravy. Yet again, we have our own tastes especially when it comes to food.

Classic Savory in SM City Cebu

The setting is peaceful and interesting. I liked how they designed the interior of the restaurant. I’ve noticed in several occasions that most of the affluent people dine here. The price for each meal is expensive compared to my favorite Barbecue Joe but we obviously can’t stay away because their chicken is just too hard to miss.
