MCD Auto Zone: Car Detail and Recarpeting

We went to MCD Auto Zone to help us in detailing and re-carpeting our 2nd hand vehicle. We recently bought a surplus-type, Suzuki Alto, which cost really cheap for a car. It didn’t really matter to me that our car is outdated compared to newer vehicles that’s out in the market. What mattered most was that we have a car that’s in good running condition and that could take us from A to B. Another concern of mine was the gasoline consumption. Our car has a 660cc engine which meant that it’s very economical in terms of fuel, though it’s not really the type of vehicle you want to get stuck with during heavy rain, but indeed it’s practical if you’re that concerned about your expenses.

Alba Uno Residencia Review

Alba Uno Residencia is a newer hotel situated in Apas, just 3 minutes away from Asiatown IT Park, Cebu City. We were looking for a room that could accommodate at least 3 adults and 1 child. Luckily, this hotel was able to provide us with a standard family room that’s good for 4 people. Two days before our scheduled stay, we were told that they didn’t have any family room available so we went ahead and reserved a Standard Room that could accommodate two people. This wasn’t a good option considering that you have to pay an additional P300 for the excess person plus another P300 for extra beddings. The room itself cost P1400 which would mean we’ll be paying P2000 instead of only P1900 for a family room. The pricing seemed inappropriate if you do the math.

Why Edward Norton is No Longer Part of The Avengers Movie

The Incredible Hulk back in 2008 was one of my favorite movies and fortunately, Edward Norton, portrayed the role better than the Eric Bana. The story and action sequence were amazing unlike the 2003 version also taking into account, Liv Tyler, who portrayed Norton’s love interest, Betty Ross. Upon hearing the news that Norton won’t be part of the Avengers, I was really devastated. After watching The Incredible Hulk, I thought to myself, Norton’s got to play the role again. He always did well in every role he played and the movies obviously turn out awesome. So why did Marvel decide to take Mark Ruffalo aboard instead?

PLDT DSL or Globelines Broadband DSL – Which is better?

If you’re someone like me, someone who spends so much time on the internet – not for the fun of it – but because of work then stability is the most important factor that needs to be taken into account when looking for an ISP. Unfortunately, we don’t really have other options except for PLDT DSL and Globelines as our ISP. Our first internet connection was hooked up by Globelines in 2009. Back then there were already plenty of instances when our speed would fluctuate or we would experience intermittent connection. Of course, if your job is that important to you and if you rely on the internet then these things are unacceptable.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Film Opens on November 17!

The most awaited Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows film is said to open worldwide starting November 17. Now, you can start saving up for tickets to SM City Cebu’s IMAX Theater to watch their 2D version.

The price per ticket may cost up to P400.00 as opposed to regular movie tickets of P160. This is definitely something you will want to consider if you prefer a near-reality experience in watching movies in theaters. SM City Cebu’s IMAX Theater will give you just that!

The Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows Film is Part 1 of the 7th and last book of J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter novels. The movie highlights Harry’s journey to seek and destroy Voldemort’s Horcruxes along with his friends Hermione and Ron. But their journey is not without danger and challenges as the Death Eaters have finally taken authority over the Ministry of Magic.

Rough Day at Thinking Tools

Sorry we haven’t posted anything new lately. We just really had a bizarre week so to speak. Last Monday, we suddenly observed an annoying red vertical line on our laptop’s monitor. I got anxious because the line didn’t disappear even after we’ve done the basic troubleshooting stuff we’ve learned from work (i.e. rebooting, etc). I suddenly had this gut feeling that there was something wrong with our LCD panel.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince!

Weee! I just watched Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince yesterday at Ayala Center Cebu and boy oh boy, the movie was awesome!!! Sorry if you would have to read another post about this, I know there are a lot of blogs posting reviews and rants about the latest Harry Potter movie but really, I just can’t help it. Just like what I wrote in my other blog site bloggercorner.com, the movie was greaaaat! Though, I was disappointed when Lord Voldemort didn’t show but I understand they have to follow JK Rowling’s sixth book so it’s all good. I liked Ginny and Harry paired up. The chemistry between these two is just infectious! It’s also amazing how Daniel, Emma and Rupert look all grown-up compared to the earlier Harry Potter movies. I also felt really sad when Dumbledore died. I can’t wait for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows.I understand they had to split the movie into two parts. But I’d still be watching the movie in theaters since it’s worth every penny!
