Huhuhu. ♥ Glam Rock ♥ is the theme for this year’s Christmas Party. My initial reaction was “Hwaaaatttt!!!” But later on I realized I’m just not used to deviating from the conventional themes. Another, reason for my hesitation was I’ve thought about how difficult it would be to find the right outfit for the event. I was hoping I’d be spending less time looking for a dress for the party but I guess this wouldn’t be possible now since this theme requires more imagination and creativity for you to search for the right attire. I’m not really the party type but this is an event I’m looking forward to attend. Since I joined this company, I realized how generous they are during Christmas considering the prizes they have in store for their employees. I just hope I get to go with my hubby since it wouldn’t be the same without him around. Though, we work for the same company but I heard they are dividing the population into two since the Venue can’t accommodate everyone in one setting. I hope I’ll have the time and patience to look for the right dress for the occasion.

Last Saturday was a blast!  Our company gave free tickets to watch ♥ New Moon ♥. I really enjoyed the movie since it was obviously better than Twilight. There were scenes in the book that I would have hoped to be included in the movie but wasn’t, that’s why I think New Moon still lacks the magic displayed in Stephenie Meyer’s book. Most of the scenes I found romantic in the book were not shown in the movie but this I understand since we can’t really expect to include every single scene in the book. I liked how the characters looked especially ♥ Bella ♥. She looked really beautiful but Kristen Stewart really needs acting lessons. I thought the scenes where she was having nightmares looked too superficial and irritating.  Robert Pattinson still didn’t look that hot compared to Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise portraying a vampire role. But I was really impressed with Taylor Lautner since despite his young age, he obviously has a talent in acting. He did a good job as ♥ Jacob Black ♥ and looked hot with his new bod.  The soundtrack wasn’t that great too. I thought they could have chosen better songs like the first one but they didn’t. Most of the songs sounded really weird and boring. Anyways, since the movie was free, I had a great time nevertheless.

I’ve been busy these past few weeks because of work and because I’ve been studying Photoshop CS4 using tutorials online. I really enjoy graphics design and I just realized that I can probably apply what I learned by creating designs. As of the moment I’m accepting jobs like creating t-shirt designs and logos for close friends. My oh my, I can’t wait to watch ♥ Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time ♥, which is soon to show May 28, 2010. of next year. The Prince of Persia movie is based on the video game whose main character, ♥ Prince Dartan ♥, teams up with the beautiful ♥ Princess Tamina ♥ to stop an angry ruler from unleashing a sandstorm that could destroy the world. I’m not really a gamer but I enjoy watching my husband play games on our PS2. I really liked the concept of the game but my favorites include Prince of Persia: The Warrior Within and Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones.

The movie is said to be produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and directed by Mike Newell. Jake Gyllenhaal who plays Prince Dartan in this movie is definitely gorgeous considering the muscles he built up just for the movie. See for yourself.

Honestly, I’m not quite certain when is the premier of New Moon here in Cebu   but I’m definitely looking forward to watching it, mostly because I’m curious whether the movie will turn out to be a disappointment just like the first one or it might turn out entertaining. I’m neither a fan of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, both I think are really amateur poor actors but I’m a big fan of the Twilight Saga books by Stephenie Meyer. I love reading books and luckily a friend at work lent me the first book and after that, I was hooked.

I’ve heard the premier night might be this November 21st perhaps in Ayala or SM. ♥ Val ♥ and I are planning to watch the movie after five days from its first show since we’d like to avoid the forecasted crowd.  Obviously!   I’m hoping to read the New Moon book again but I’m hesitating since I might end up comparing the movie with the book just like what happened the last time. Perhaps, just realizing now I might read the book after the movie so at least I’ll get to more objective rather than be a critic.

I never thought this would happen but surprisingly this site finally received a Page Rank 1! Woot!!! I’m not sure what day it was but I just noticed the change in this site’s rank this week. You might wonder what the commotion is about so let me just explain that we had this site since February of this year so it took about 9 freakin’ months before it received this ranking from Google. Now, do you understand where I’m coming from? Our other site  ♥bloggercorner♥ was ranked one after only two months but this site just lacked popularity. Anyways, Val and I are enjoying this short-lived happiness for now so please bear with us.
