The Cebu Blog Camp 2010 held last Saturday, May 22; at the CAP building near Jones Cebu was quite a success! For a start, if you consider yourself a novice in the blogging world, you’ll find yourself feeling countless moments of hesitation. In my case, I’m usually impervious when it comes to attending events such as this. Luckily this time, a really good friend of mine, by the name of Xerxes Bernadez of ObnoxiousQueer, persuade me to join the Cebu Blog Camp. Nothing personal really, let’s just say I can be unusually anti-social but in the end, I’m just another blogger who enjoys meeting new people and building friendly relationships, learning new ideas from the best particularly one that can help improve your skills, and of course, accepting freebies!!!

I’m joining Cebu Blog Camp 2010

19 May

Blogging has become one of my passions these days despite my crazy schedule at work. Again, it took me a long time to create yet another post on this blog so I hope you can pardon my frivolity.

I wanted to write about my plans this Saturday which will involve attending the Cebu Blog Camp 2010. This blog camp will be held at the CAP Auditorium near Jones Cebu on Saturday, May 22, 2010. I am really looking forward to joining blogging assemblies such as this because you get a chance to meet people who also revolve around the world of blogging. This is actually the first time I committed myself to join any activity outside my corporate work but I’m willing to change that notion moving forward.

Iron Man 2 Review

Iron Man 2

After the many months and days I’ve waited, finally I got to see Iron Man 2 yesterday with my hubby. I was so excited to watch the movie that most of the day my thoughts were mainly focused on nothing else. Too bad my Vaughn couldn’t watch the movie with us yet because he’s barely two years old but anyway, I’m pretty sure he’d love to watch it someday.

Family Time Again

27 Jan

Today, Val and I took Vaughn to Ayala Center to have some baby fun! It’s a weekend so this was one of the times were we get to spend some family time. I was quite happy since Vaughn wanted to walk most of the time. I watched my son in adoration as he gazed at tall mannequins from glass windows and look quizzically at people who hurried down the passage to do some shopping. I thought to myself, just how really cute and handsome he looked.

I’ve been away I know. I’ve been very busy after the holidays and realized I wanted to spend more quality time with my family rather than spend much time on blogging. Sometimes we have to sacrifice a lot of things just to strengthen our relationships with other people. In my case, I want my relationship with my son different from the ones I’ve had when I was growing up. I’m from a family where communication is not much of value. We love each other, share the same problems and experience the same predicaments. We even survived despite the hardships that fell upon us especially after the death of my father. But somehow I still feel this longing to have my family’s support and understanding and hope that someday we spring free from the ridiculous shell we ourselves created to shield ourselves from our feelings. It is for this reason that I’m determined to focus my attention more on my own family. To take good care of my son and nurture him with the love and support he deserves. So I hope you can pardon me for not being able to update this site for a while. If I’m not blogging then I’m either spending more time with my son or working. But not to worry though, I’m now back and ready to blog about stuff that’s been going on with my life or with the people around me.
