Mommy Time

One of the best things in life is to spend some time with my little angel despite the hectic and crazy life of working in a Call Center. Val, baby Vaughn and I went to Ayala just to take a break and for ♥ Vaughn ♥ to perfect his walk…he’s only a year and three months. We also dropped by Globe to pay our bills and after that…Snack Time! What Val and I have in common is how much we just love desserts and burgers. It won’t take long before  Vaughn  will  inherit our likes as well. One of my favorite snack stops here in Cebu City is McJoy, a fast food restaurant that sells mouth-watering desserts. We ordered their ♥ McJoy  Special Halo-Halo ♥ and cheese burgers, and had a really fun-filled satisfying meal. Val can’t help himself but take shots of Vaughn and myself. It was difficult for Vaughn to stay still so we just had to settle with blurry photos.

The Last Airbender Movie

I can’t wait to watch M. Night Shyamalan’s new movie, The Last Airbender . The movie is based on the animated series “Avatar: The Last Airbender” created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko. According to IMDb, the movie will premiere July 2nd of next year. The cast includes hunky actor Jackson Rathbonewho played Sokka, a teenage Water Tribe warrior and Dev Patel of Slumdog Millionaire who played Prince Zuko, the exiled son of the Fire Nation king Fire Lord Ozai.

Here’s a brief synopsis of the movie from imdb.com:

cartoons stimulates fear?

Who would have thought that the adorable Po of Dream Work’s Kung-Fu Panda♥ will be feared by our younglings. I’ve never thought of it in a million years, but earlier today, my adorable son Vaughn was terrified when we started watching Kung-Fu Panda specifically Po.   Much to my husband and mine’s amusement, little Vaughn started cying and rolling over the floor. At first, we didn’t know why he was acting uncanny. When we called his attention, he practically ran towards us and demanded that we hug him. When my husband embraced him, he noticed that Vaughn’s arms were wrapped so tightly around him like letting go of him wasn’t an option. Vaughn’s eyes were still focused on our television with Kung-Fu Panda still on its screen. After a while, Vaughn relaxed but still positioned himself close to my husband.I guess I’ll never really understand what Vaughn was thinking. But it is during these times that I can’t help but feel so much adoration towards our little Vaughn:)
