Clash of the Titans (2010)

Back in High School I’ve always been fascinated with the mystical stories of ♥ Greek Mythology ♥. I just love reading each of the stories of gods and goddesses. I even recall writing a term paper about Greek Mythology which wasn’t really easy at the time due to the lack of resources. Just recently I found out that Hollywood was doing a remake of the 1981 epic movie, Clash of the Titans. The remake is soon to hit the theaters by March 26, 2009 with ♦ Sam Worthington ♦ as Perseus and ♦ Liam Neeson ♦ as Zeus. As a kid, I really enjoyed the first one and hope that the remake will be better considering that we have outstanding technological capabilities to apply CGI (Computer-Generated Imagery) in movies. The Clash of the Titans trailer in HD is featured in this site. Check it out and see if the movie suits your tastes in movies!

Movie Time – Ghost of Girlfriends Past

Yipee! It’s movie time again. It’s the weekend which means we get to spend time watching movies at home  . We watched a few but I’ll just blog about  ♥ Ghost of the Girlfriends  ♥ Past starring Matthew McConaughey and Jennifer Garner. This movie was about ♥ Connor Mead ♥ a slick photographer (Matthew McConaughey) whose an absolute womanizer famous for having casual sex with women then dumping them as soon as they start falling for him. Conner valued his freedom so much that he attempts to talk his brother out of getting married. Jennifer Garner plays ♥ Jenny Perotti ♥, Connor’s true love since childhood but he just won’t admit it. The night before his brother’s wedding, Connor was visited by three ghost’s including his great womanizing Uncle (Michael Douglas) who takes him to his past, present and future in the hope that Connor would realize his life was empty. So much for Las Vegas Shows.

Movie Addicts

One of the things that me and my hubby have in common is watching movies. We just love movies specifically English movies. We’re not really into Filipino movies and that’s because they’re always predictable. Anyways, I’ve recently checked our external hard drive and was surprised that we have a total of 132 movies in it.

Our external hard drive can accommodate 160 GB of memory and we have used up 103 GB already! I guess we have to think about purchasing another hard drive since the movies we like to watch are piling up quickly than we’ve expected. We still have other DVD s stored in our closet and we just don’t have the time to save them yet on the drive.

The Last Airbender Movie

I can’t wait to watch M. Night Shyamalan’s new movie, The Last Airbender . The movie is based on the animated series “Avatar: The Last Airbender” created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko. According to IMDb, the movie will premiere July 2nd of next year. The cast includes hunky actor Jackson Rathbonewho played Sokka, a teenage Water Tribe warrior and Dev Patel of Slumdog Millionaire who played Prince Zuko, the exiled son of the Fire Nation king Fire Lord Ozai.

Here’s a brief synopsis of the movie from imdb.com:

alone

What I love about day dreaming is it’s FREE!   Anyways, I’m here in the office quite bored sleepy and tired. Surprisingly, I find myself alone in our usually crowded and busy office. I can hear nothing but the sound of my fingers tapping the keyboard. I can’t stop myself from dozing off or thinking excitedly about our plans later. G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra is currently showing in theaters since last week and we’re hoping to finally get a glimpse of the movie. This is just my excuse to avoid getting spooked since I’ve heard lots of scary stories about our office. Perhaps I’ll blog about it in the future but for now, I need to get some work done. ;)

Alice is then faced with a decision whether to help the creatures in Wonderland whose relies on her. Alice soon meets the freakish looking Mad Hatter played by Johnny Depp, the Red Queen (Helena Bonham Carter) who’s known for her famous line “Off with Their Heads” line, the egg-shaped Tweedledee and Tweedledum (Matt Lucas) and the White Queen (Anne Hathaway).

South Korean Byung-hun Lee as Storm Shadow actor plays the role of Storm Shadow in the upcoming movie G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra. Byung-hun who became popular for his acting in Park Chan-wook’s Joint Security Area and Kim Ji-woon’s A Bittersweet Life landed the role in December 2007. I’m not really sure if he’s into cosmetology but I guess most actors are. G.I. Joe will be his Hollywood debut film.
