Clash of the Titans (2010)

Back in High School I’ve always been fascinated with the mystical stories of ♥ Greek Mythology ♥. I just love reading each of the stories of gods and goddesses. I even recall writing a term paper about Greek Mythology which wasn’t really easy at the time due to the lack of resources. Just recently I found out that Hollywood was doing a remake of the 1981 epic movie, Clash of the Titans. The remake is soon to hit the theaters by March 26, 2009 with ♦ Sam Worthington ♦ as Perseus and ♦ Liam Neeson ♦ as Zeus. As a kid, I really enjoyed the first one and hope that the remake will be better considering that we have outstanding technological capabilities to apply CGI (Computer-Generated Imagery) in movies. The Last Airbender Movie

I can’t wait to watch M. Night Shyamalan’s new movie, ♥ The Last Airbender ♥. The movie is based on the animated series “Avatar: The Last Airbender” created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko. According to IMDb, the movie will premiere July 2nd of next year. The cast includes hunky actor ♥ Jackson Rathbone ♥ who played Sokka, a teenage Water Tribe warrior and ♥ Dev Patel ♥ of Slumdog Millionaire who played Prince Zuko, the exiled son of the Fire Nation king Fire Lord Ozai.

It seems like yesterday since we’ve seen Emma Watson in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. She was so young at the time. Now you wouldn’t even recognize her even if she bought Las Vegas Show Tickets. Recently, news circulating that Emma Watson just bought a £3million house in London which she’s planning to share with her steady beau Jay Barrymore, 26. The couple was said to have been dating for 16 consecutive months and had decided to take their relationship to the next level. Not really that long if you ask me. A source, however, said that “Despite the fame, she’s really got her head screwed on. After consulting with several property experts, as well as her family and friends, she’s decided to invest in her own place.”

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince!

Weee! I just watched Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince yesterday at Ayala Center Cebu and boy oh boy, the movie was awesome!!! Sorry if you would have to read another post about this, I know there are a lot of blogs posting reviews and rants about the latest Harry Potter movie but really, I just can’t help it. Just like what I wrote in my other blog site bloggercorner.com, the movie was greaaaat! Though, I was disappointed when Lord Voldemort didn’t show but I understand they have to follow JK Rowling’s sixth book so it’s all good. I liked Ginny and Harry paired up. The chemistry between these two is just infectious! It’s also amazing how Daniel, Emma and Rupert look all grown-up compared to the earlier Harry Potter movies. I also felt really sad when Dumbledore died. I can’t wait for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows.I understand they had to split the movie into two parts. But I’d still be watching the movie in theaters since it’s worth every penny!

Emma Watson who plays the role of Hermione Granger of the Harry Potter movies is all grown-up! Looking really elegant in a Christopher Kane tiered dress with black trim at the Ed Sullivan Theater in Manhattan.

Despite her recent controversy about a wardrobe malfunction during the London premiere of Harry Potter, Watson is still considered one of the popular rising young stars this year.

Watson with a touch of humor, simply laughed off the whole wardrobe misfortune during her interview with David Letterman. The young actress jokingly stated that “At least I’m wearing underwear!”
