Random Saturday Thoughts

After work, my husband ♥ Val ♥ and I took our little ♥ Vaughn ♥ to the mall for a walk. The ironic thing was most of the time, little ♥ Vaughn ♥ wanted me to pick him up or else he would start crying really hard. We didn’t stay long, though, since he fell asleep while we waited to have his pictures developed. ♥ Val ♥ and I were hungry but we decided to go home and just order pizza from Yellow Cab and had it delivered to our place. After some time I had to go back to the mall, for Vaughn’s pictures and decided to look for a dress for our Christmas Party.
My friend Doi of DoiSpeaks and I met at the mall. I helped her look for some beach shorts while she helped me with the dress. Both of us hadn’t had any sleep yet so we were really tired and edgy.
Finally, I found the perfect outfit for the party. The outfit consists of a funky black skirt, long black and gray vest and some black leggings. I just love the color black! The outfit was actually worn by a mannequin, I feared that someone at the party might have the same outfit like mine but I want to be optimistic. The skirt was really short and I would never really wear it without leggings. I’m not really comfortable showing a lot of skin so I’ve decided to sell the skirt after wearing it only once. All that’s left to find would be the perfect shoes. Doi suggested that I should look for a pair of classy boots but I wasn’t in the mood just yet. I’ll look for one some other time I guess.

Christmas Party Theme

Glam Rock ♥ is the theme for this year’s Christmas Party. My initial reaction was “Hwaaaatttt!!!” But later on I realized I’m just not used to deviating from the conventional themes. Another, reason for my hesitation was I’ve thought about how difficult it would be to find the right outfit for this theme. I was hoping I’d be spending less time looking for a dress to wear for the party but I guess this wouldn’t be possible now since this theme requires more imagination and creativity for you to search for the right outfit. I’m not really the party type but this is an event I’m looking forward to attend. Since I joined the company, I realized how generous they are during Christmas considering the prizes they have in store for their employees. I just hope I can go with Val since it wouldn’t be the same without him around. Though, we work for the same company but I heard they are dividing the population into two since the Venue can’t accommodate everyone in one setting. I hope I’ll have the time and patience to look for the right dress for the occasion.

Mommy Time

One of the best things in life is to spend some time with my little angel despite the hectic and crazy life of working in a Call Center. Val, baby Vaughn and I went to Ayala just to take a break and for ♥ Vaughn ♥ to perfect his walk…he’s only a year and three months. We also dropped by Globe to pay our bills and after that…Snack Time! What Val and I have in common is how much we just love desserts and burgers. It won’t take long before  Vaughn  will  inherit our likes as well. One of my favorite snack stops here in Cebu City is McJoy, a fast food restaurant that sells mouth-watering desserts. We ordered their ♥ McJoy  Special Halo-Halo ♥ and cheese burgers, and had a really fun-filled satisfying meal. Val can’t help himself but take shots of Vaughn and myself. It was difficult for Vaughn to stay still so we just had to settle with blurry photos.

Weekend with Val and Baby Vaughn

My way to spend a really great day is to be with my hubby Val and baby Vaughn. Yesterday, Val took this picture of Vaughn and I in IT Park, Cebu City. We spent the day watching Vaughn with amusement as he walked, ran and tripped on the grass  . Vaughn is only a year and 3 months old so he’s still in the process of perfecting his walk ;) . Val and I felt really happy just to spend even these hours with Vaughn. He’s just so adorable we can’t help feeling thankful and lucky to have him in our lives. Here I am again, feeling vulnerable just thinking of Val and Vaughn. The feeling is quite indescribable really, however, I’m happy to feel this kind of happiness. :)

cartoons stimulates fear?

Who would have thought that the adorable Po of Dream Work’s Kung-Fu Panda♥ will be feared by our younglings. I’ve never thought of it in a million years, but earlier today, my adorable son Vaughn was terrified when we started watching Kung-Fu Panda specifically Po.   Much to my husband and mine’s amusement, little Vaughn started cying and rolling over the floor. At first, we didn’t know why he was acting uncanny. When we called his attention, he practically ran towards us and demanded that we hug him. When my husband embraced him, he noticed that Vaughn’s arms were wrapped so tightly around him like letting go of him wasn’t an option. Vaughn’s eyes were still focused on our television with Kung-Fu Panda still on its screen. After a while, Vaughn relaxed but still positioned himself close to my husband.I guess I’ll never really understand what Vaughn was thinking. But it is during these times that I can’t help but feel so much adoration towards our little Vaughn:)

Separated at birth?

Hehe  . I always thought my husband and actor Joo Ji Hoon look disturbingly alike. Even my sister always tease me about marrying Val since he looks like Joo Ji Hoon. In the same note, there were funny moments where Val and I were approached by total strangers thinking he’s Korean or Chinese. These strangers actually look like swindlers or something of that sort. Being the goofy couple that we are, we tend to play along with their game. It made me laugh how Val would pretend to be a Korean tourist speaking with poor English accent to these strangers.  We enjoyed so much since they had no idea what we were up to.

Check out this photo I edited with Joo Ji Hoon and my hubby Val. For those who don’t know Joo Ji Hoon, he’s the leading guy in the K-series, Princess Hours. :)
